I’m not really proud of much and that’s very honest. I have a very hard time speaking about myself in positive ways. I have a hard time taking compliments. I just - don’t look back. I’m very goal oriented and I’m always looking at that next thing, next level….next next next. Ok, awesome - I got here, we did this, that project was success but now what’s next? How do I/we get better?
In that same light if I ever do look back it’s mostly with a critical eye - this could have been better, oh man, I wish I would have done this instead….
But Babefest is different. Babefest, what it is, what we stand for and the reasons we create it are just IT for me. I’m so proud to be part of a project that shows my passion and speaks for everything I hold dear.
If I could just do this in some way I would do it in an instant. Like if we could do it quarterly and live off of it. If we could create a whole community of modelographers that come together and create to benefit women. Like - HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE?!?!?
Passion, Creativity, Friendship, Feminism, we are Sex Positive, Body Positive, we are ALL for getting naked pretty much everywhere (literally, everywhere) and as Katie always says we “Give No Fucks”.
And to think all of this just happened by being ourselves. I was doing me, she was doing her and the stars just aligned. We found each other getting naked on the internet. Once chance meeting in a hotel 7 years ago and here we are. I’m not even sure I believe in fate but if I did….this would most certainly be it.
